The information, analytics, alerts and AI-generated suggestions provided by Helmsman By Sailorscope(operated by Deepsea Logic Media FZ-LLC) are made available for general operational and commercial guidance only. They do not constitute professional, legal, navigational, engineering or financial advice.
1. No warranty of accuracy
Performance metrics, deviation calculations, charter-party breach indicators, financial impact estimates and predictive forecasts are derived from data submitted by you and your crew, and from publicly available weather and market references. Despite our diligence, errors, omissions and model limitations may occur. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any output.
2. AI advisory output
Captain AI and related models generate suggestions based on the context you provide. AI output may be incomplete or contextually inappropriate and must always be verified by a qualified mariner or shore manager before any operational, commercial or safety-critical decision is taken.
3. Master's overriding authority
Nothing in the Service overrides the master's authority and responsibility for the safe navigation and operation of the vessel under SOLAS, ISM Code, COLREGS and all other applicable instruments.
4. Charter-party & commercial decisions
Claim dossiers, breach indicators and financial projections are produced from your inputs and contractual terms you supply. They are an aid to evidence-building, not a substitute for legal counsel or the commercial judgement of charterers, owners and brokers.
5. Third-party data
Where the Service integrates third-party data (weather, market rates, IoT streams), those providers remain responsible for their data. We disclaim liability for third-party errors or unavailability.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deepsea Logic Media FZ-LLC and its affiliates accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the Service, including loss of fuel savings, hire, revenue or goodwill.
